Hughes Stadium

Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium lies at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, about two miles west of the main campus area and in one of the most scenic settings to be found anywhere. In 2000, permanent lighting standards were installed. Four years later, 4,400 additional seats were constructed in the north end zone, the stadium's press box and Rams Horn levels were renovated, and 12 new luxury boxes were constructed. Finally, the installation of a FieldTurf playing surface prior to the 2006 season completed renovations.

Joey Porter Locker Room

In April of 2005, just before earning a Super Bowl XL ring as a defensive leader on the Pittsburgh Steelers' world championship team, former CSU star Joey Porter donated $200,000 to renovate the Rams' football locker room inside the Moby Arena building.

Construction began that spring and the team dedicated the state-of-the-art facility, one of the finest locker rooms in the Mountain West Conference, in Fall 2005

Everitt Weight Room

The state-of-the-art weight training facility used by Colorado State's student-athletes is the Everitt Weight Room, adjacent to Moby Arena's basketball floor. The room was named after Bob Everitt and his family, which has been a cornerstone in the Fort Collins and CSU community for decades, providing support to the athletics department in various ways throughout the years.

The room recently received a major upgrade that added new machines and free weights, as well as a high-quality training floor.

Indoor Practice Facility

The 66,267-square-foot Indoor Practice Facility, located north of the Student Recreation Center, creates more practice space.

  • 70-yard synthetic turf field
  • four lane training track
  • regulation-size basketball and volleyball courts
  • hitting areas for softball and golf

Academic and Training Center

The Academic and Training Center supports our efforts to educate, develop, and graduate our student-athletes.

The academic features of the facility include:

  • four private tutoring rooms
  • computer lab with 30 workstations
  • offices for our academic staff
